KARUNA SYSTEM - DETAILED COURSE DESCRIPTION
Karuna is a Sanskrit word that means any action through which the suffering of another being is alleviated; it means compassion or compassionate action. Individuals who reach the peak of spiritual evolution and attain Enlightenment say that we are all ONE, ONE BEING, and each and every one of us is like a cell in the Body of Divinity. So, it is natural for all of us to act compassionately towards each other, and any healing and help that we extend to another being will help all of us in the end.
Karuna is a well-known energy healing system that includes Reiki symbols channeled by several Reiki Masters, including Marcy Miller, Marla Abraham, Kellie Marine, Pat Courtney, and Catherine Bellamont. In the U.S., William Rand, a famous Reiki Master, gathered all these symbols and, with the help of some of his sensitive students, created a system of attunements. Karuna is considered to have a higher vibratory level than the Usui Reiki system. The Karuna energy healing system is taught in 4 Levels.
Prerequisite: To enroll in the Karuna Level 1 and 2 Course, students must have at least Reiki Level 2 in Usui Reiki or Reiki of 7 Levels system.
For the Karuna Level 3 Course, students need to have Level 3 training in Usui Reiki or the Reiki of 7 Levels system.
The Karuna Master Level Course is exclusively taught to students who already hold the Master Level in Usui Reiki or the Reiki of 7 Levels system.
KARUNA LEVEL 1 COURSE - Fee: $250
(Prerequisite: Level 2 in Usui Reiki or Reiki of 7 Levels system)
The Karuna Level 1 Course is taught as a one-on-one* or group class during one day of intensive training. Karuna attunements will be performed individually for each student. At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate for that level of training.
All the information and techniques are covered, including:
- The history of the Karuna Energy Healing system.
- Initiation in Zonar, Halu, Harth, and Rama symbols.
- The specifics of Karuna Level 1 energies (in detail).
- The effects of Karuna Level 1 energy treatment.
- How to give a complete Reiki treatment for self and others.
The class is a blend of lecture, discussion, and hands-on experience. Practice time includes giving and/or receiving a complete Karuna treatment using all the Karuna Level 1 symbols mentioned above.
KARUNA LEVEL 2 COURSE - Fee: $300
(Prerequisite: Level 2 in Usui Reiki or Reiki of 7 Levels system)
The Karuna Level 2 Course is taught as a one-on-one* or group class during one day of intensive training. Karuna attunements will be performed individually for each student. At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate for that level of training.
All the information and techniques are covered, including:
- The difference between Karuna Level 2 and Karuna Level 1.
- Initiation in Gnosa, Kriya, Yava, and Shanti symbols.
- The specifics of Karuna Level 2 energies (in detail).
- The effects of Karuna Level 2 energy treatment.
The class is a blend of lecture, discussion, and hands-on experience. Practice time includes giving and/or receiving a complete Karuna treatment using all the Karuna Level 2 symbols mentioned above.
KARUNA LEVEL 3 COURSE - Fee: $350
(Prerequisite: Level 3 in Usui Reiki or Reiki of 7 Levels system)
The Karuna Level 3 Course is taught as a one-on-one* or group class during one day of intensive training. Karuna attunements will be performed individually for each student. At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate for that level of training.
All the information and techniques are covered, including:
- Initiation in OM, Raku (Tibetan Fire Serpent) symbols.
- The specifics of Karuna Level 3 energies (in detail).
- The effects of Karuna Level 3 energy treatment.
The class is a blend of lecture, discussion, and hands-on experience. Practice time includes giving and/or receiving a complete Karuna treatment using all the Karuna Level 3 symbols mentioned above.
KARUNA MASTER / TEACHER LEVEL COURSE - Fee: $500
(Prerequisite: Master Level in Usui Reiki or Reiki of 7 Levels system)
Karuna Master / Teacher Level Course is taught as a one-on-one* or group class during one day of intensive training. Karuna attunements will be performed individually for each student. At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate for that level of training.
All the information and techniques are covered, including:
- The complete Karuna - Master / Teacher attunement that includes initiation in Tibetan Dai Ko Myo and Usui Dai Ko Myo symbols.
- Training in the basic techniques required for the Master / Teacher Level.
- Instruction on how to give attunements for Karuna: Level 1, 2, 3 and for the Karuna Master / Teacher Level.
- Lots of practice time doing attunements.
- The values and spiritual orientation of a true Karuna Master.
Detailed instructions are given about the Karuna system of attunements. More than half of the class time is used for practice to help the student become confident in administering Karuna attunements. A class manual is included that contains detailed step-by-step instructions for giving all the attunements. This class is a powerful healing experience.
While practice time takes place during each Karuna Course, it is expected that the student will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. It is recommended that the student set aside a minimum of 30 minutes each day for the next 2-3 weeks following each Karuna level to practice Karuna on themselves, on family members, or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence needed to fully utilize the Karuna training.
At each level, the student will receive the course material and a diploma that certifies what level has been achieved. Weekend and weekday courses are available.
